In previous years Top Billing’s Presenter Search enjoyed immense popularity with thousands of hopefuls vying for the coveted role of being a Top Billing presenter. Previous winners Simba Mhere and Jonathan Boynton-Lee were catapulted to fame, and are to date still two of South Africa’s most beloved celebrities.
Throughout the series viewers will see familiar presenter faces from Top Billing, Expresso, as well as surprise guests from other SABC shows. They will host elimination challenges and mentor contestants with top presenter tips.
Over the months of February and March 2015, thousands of hopefuls will be whittled down to a top 10, but only three are destined for greatness as they are put in the spotlight. Under the discerning eyes of Presenter Search on 3 judges Bonang Matheba, Phat Joe and the ever ebullient Jeannie D, contestants will face physical challenges, tests of improvisation and intelligence, all the while maintaining the poise, confidence and charisma befitting a perfect presenter.
Anyone from 18 and above can enter. Viewers and contestants alike will experience enigmatic greatness as well as dismal disappointment. Who will have what it takes to make it into South Africa’s top 3? This new show gives a new meaning to: find it on three.
