R30 000 reward for information on men who killed Elliotdale tourists in 2014

Eastern Cape police on Wednesday announced that they are offering a reward of up to R30 000 for information, which may lead to the arrest, prosecution and successful conviction of two suspects involved in fatal attack of tourists in Elliotdale in 2014.

"The two suspects, Sicelo Sigagayi and Mkanyise Qalingoma escaped on the way back from court during April 2016. Police believed that the suspects are in/ around Mthatha," said police spokesperson, Lt Khaya Tonjeni.

"Police are appealing to the community members to assist them with any information that may lead to the re:arrest and conviction of the suspects.

Information can also be reported at any nearest Police Station, and will be treated as confidential.
