SANRAL to replace metro overhead road signs


The South African National Roads Agency Limited (SANRAL) has issued a call for tenders for the replacement of over-head road signs on the SANRAL Southern Region road network in Nelson Mandela Bay.

The routes covered are sections of the N2 and R75 and cover a total distance of approximately 50 kilometres.

The approximate number of overhead guidance signs that are to be replaced is 52 on 39 gantry structures and the approximate duration of the contract is six months.

The National Roads Agency is also planning to replace thousands of road signs elsewhere in the Eastern Cape.

Tenders have been issued for the re-placement of all road signs in Chris Hani as well as the Joe Gqabi and Amathole District Municipalities. - metrominutes
