Sarah Baartman Distriksmunisipaliteit skenk nuwe brandweerwa aan Camdeboo

The Sarah Baartman District on Friday, June 19, 2015, a new fire truck worth R840 000 to the Camdeboo Local Municipality, during a plegtiheid at the Alex Laing community center in Kroonvale handed.

"In the case of the municipalities vuurrampe work together to help the community. We are deployed to serve you, "the Executive Mayor of the Sarah Baartman District Khunjuzwa Eunice Kekana said.

"In 1995 and 2012, the Camdeboo Local Municipality received fire vehicles. The latter R1.5 million and cost. In 2005, the  Hazmat handed unit. All these vehicles are still in good condition.

"These vehicles, and the officials who run it, a large area covers - from Nieu Bethesda to Aberdeen and sometimes to Jansenville."

Nthuthu Poswa, a community development worker, the District and the Camdeboo Local Municipality for their assistance.

"I want on behalf of the community warmly thank for this donation. Our eyes are open and we see what the government is doing for us. "

Camdeboo Municipal Mayor, Hanna Makoba, the community encouraged to spread the news of this grant from the Distriksmunisipalteit.

"I believe these officers are well trained and know what is expected of them. However, I would ask that the community should take care of this vehicle by the abuse immediately rapporteur, "she warned.

"This vehicle, and the officer who managed, should save lives and not vice versa."
