SASKO Recipe: Plus+ Soy and Linseed Melba Toast with Smoked Salmon

Yield: 10 portions

 

Ingredients:

5 slices of SASKO Plus+ Soy and Linseed Bread

200g smoked salmon

½ lemon, juiced

150g full fat cream cheese

30g chives, chopped

50ml olive oil

Salt and pepper

Micro herbs

 

Method:

Preheat the oven to 180 degrees

Line baking trays with non-stick baking paper

Roll SASKO Plus+ Soy and Linseed Bread to form a thin sheet, 3mm thick.

Remove bread crust and cut into 3 finger size rectangular shapes

Season bread with olive oil, salt and pepper

Bake in the oven for 10min or until golden brown

Remove from the oven and leave to cool

Add cream cheese, chopped chives and lemon juice into a mixing bowl and season well. Mix thoroughly.

Place mixture into a piping bag

 

Assembly:

Pipe the cream cheese mixture onto each crisp and top with smoked salmon. Season with salt and pepper and garnish with micro herbs.
