Schools Recycling Project - Term 2 Winners

In first place, with a total weight of 9206kg, is Kabega Primary.

Kabega Primary has been the winning school for more than a year and continues to set the bar high for competing schools.  They received a cash prize of R3000.00 donated by Mpact SA Recycling.  "We have used our previous prize money toward investing in water tanks for our school, and this time we will use the funds towards new recycling bins" - Dr Adele Botha.

In second place, with a total weight of 5128kg, is BJ Mnyanda Primary from Zwide.

BJ Mnyanda Primary has an active enviro club who motivates other pupils to recycle.  They will be planning more enviro activities in order to increase their recycling weights.  BJ Mnyanda received a cash prize of R2000.00 donated by Mpact SA Recycling.

In third place, with a total weight of 3246kg, is Fumisukoma Primary School in Motherwell NU 9:

Fumisukoma's learners were very excited to hear about their achievement and are planning to beat BJ Mnyanda this term!  The school received a R1000.00 cash prize, donated by Mpact SA Recycling.
