St Andrew’s College u/15 cricketer awarded CSA player of the tournament

Grade 10 pupil Peter Jarvis from St Andrew’s College was awarded a trophy by Hashim Amla for the U15 Player of the Tournament this week at the CSA Amateur Awards, which took place at a breakfast held at the Wanderers in Johannesburg on 26 July.

This was for his outstanding batting performance at the CSA National U15 Week which was held in East London in December. Peter was the highest run scoring batsman at this tournament, scoring 275 runs in six innings including two 50s and one century. His highest score was 113. He finished the tournament with a batting average of 55.

Hashim Amla presented him with his trophy. All the current Protea players were present at the breakfast and it was an honour for Peter to meet many of them.
