St Andrews has solid weekend of cricket vs Queen’s College and UK's Malvern College

FEBRUARY 16, 2016

The St Andrew’s College 1st XI enjoyed a solid weekend of cricket which should help prepare them for the challenging ISCF hosted by St Alban’s College and for the following Grey High School fixture.

"The bowlers set the game up for the team in the morning sessions and the batsman held their composure in the afternoon closing out their wins vs. Queen’s College by 8 wickets and vs. Malvern College (UK) by 6 wickets," said Cherié Wille, Communications Officer at the school.

"The Malvern College game was a return fixture from the UK Tour in 2013 and it was played in a competitive spirit in which both teams showed sound moments of composure in slow batting conditions."
