Stars in the TKO finals
Platinum Stars coach, Allan Freese, has said that he is happy to be entering his second consecutive Telkom Knockout (TKO) final match, after his side trounced Mamelodi Sundowns 1-0 in the semi-final match at the Royal Bafokeng Stadium on Sunday afternoon.
Forward, Eleazar Rodgers scored the only goal of the game in the second half, securing the Star’s victory as well as showing their dominance within the game.
“I’m very happy because we managed to reach the final,” said Freese.
“I told my boys before the game that we only need to win this match to get to the final again. And we managed to do it. So now I am not stressing anymore because we don’t need to go for a draw to find out who we are going to play in the final.
“Now we know who we are going to play against and we are looking forward to it.”
Dikwena will be facing SuperSport United in the TKO finals with the date and venue still to be announced.
