Stolen goods worth over R1 million recovered in King Williams Town

An investigation is still underway after Eastern Cape police foiled a truck hijacking and recovered stolen goods worth over R1 million.

"On Friday, at 11:00, Mdantsane Flying Squad recovered a truck abandoned in Fort Jackson and followed up further information and recovered the contents of the truck in a warehouse close to Cash build in King Williams Town," said the police.

"R1 500 000 worth of goods were siezed by police. The truck is also valued at R1 500 000."

No arrests have been made at rhis stage.
