Sunfoil Series: Chevrolet Warriors vs Chevrolet Knights at Buffalo Park
The Chevrolet Warriors will travel to East London for their penultimate Sunfoil Series match this week when they go head to head with the Knights. After a gutsy performance last week against the Cobras, the Warriors top order batsmen stuck it out to force a draw on the last day and by doing so retained their 4th spot on the Sunfoil Series log.
Chevrolet Warriors captain, Colin Ingram is currently 4th on the leading batting averages for the Sunfoil Series with 780 runs in 15 innings at an average of 65.
Two Warriors bowlers, Andrew Birch and Simon Harmer feature in the top 20 leading bowling averages. Birch is currently in 13th position with an average of 28.81 and Simon Harmer in 17th spot with an average of 33.62.
All six franchises will be in action this weekend each with a game in hand. The Lions are the log leaders on 114.94 points followed by the Dolphins on 98.26, Titans on 84.90, Warriors 63.48 with the Knights and Cobras on 62.40 and 60.34 respectively.
