The Radisson’s Tabú Bar and Lounge releases exciting new menu

If you have not dined on something new lately, you will be excited to know the renowned Tabú Bar and Lounge, which is located at the Radisson Blu Hotel in Summerstrand, recently released a revamped menu that is bound to get your taste buds tingling!

Tabú’s Executive Chef, Jonahan Hodder, says that, with this new menu, together with his team of 22 professional chefs, they are seeking to help their guests discover a new culinary experience - something that they will always remember.

“The menu that we created, we made to suit the restaurant, with a more modern take on cuisine,” Hodder explains.

“We like to use big flavours that work well, colourful flavours, something that is going to be interesting after every bite. We use seasons as guidelines and we are looking at changing the menu again for the spring and summer seasons.”

Included on this new menu are delicious selections, such as their Moroccan spiced Rump of Lamb with a chick pea salsa, confit tomato, lamb and cumin jus, and the Potato and Tarraon Gnocchi with peas, roast baby onions, braised gem lettuce and burnt leek veloute.

For the sweet tooth, Tabú also offers a wide range of delectable desserts.   

Along with their main menu, they have a tasting menu on offer as well, where you can choose our own five course meal. This is also done with wine matching.

They also cater for vegetarians with a full vegetarian menu – so there goes your excuse...

For business delegates, Hodder says they have a conference level menu, where they can cater for up to 200 people.

The Radisson also offers a private dining room, which can host up to 30 people for parties and functions.
