Third image of “new” Toyota Hilux leaked

BY CHARL BOSCH - APRIL 21, 2015

A Thai-based Facebook page has published a single clear image, which appears to be from a brochure, of what it believes to be the final rendering of the all-new Toyota Hilux, which is expected to make its debut later this year or early in 2016.

The image by the page, Hilux Revo, reportedly shows the range topping double cab model and comes after a front-and rear shot of a pre-production model went viral two months ago. Toyota has however remained tight-lipped about confirming whether the pics are indeed the latest iteration of South Africa’s best-selling new vehicle.

No technical information has yet been released although it is now believed that the newcomer will feature a heavily revised version of the current Hilux’s petrol and diesel engines as well as six speed gearboxes for manual and auto models.
