Three Companies Vying For Uitenhage Bingo License

SEPTEMBER 29, 2014

Three companies are reportedly in the running for a license to operate a Bingo Hall in Uitenhage.

The Eastern Cape Gambling and Betting Board has published the names of the companies, Galaxy Bingo, Elite Bingo and Goldrush Bingo who have applied for a license.

This is the second round of applications for licenses after the Board awarded six earlier, two each to Port Elizabeth and East London and one each to Jeffrey’s Bay and Mthatha.

The Board excluded these towns from the second round of applications unless there were bids from other areas.

In addition to the three applications to operate Bingo halls in Uitenhage others have also been received from planned operations in Grahamstown, Graaff-Reinet and Cradock.

Public hearings on the applications will be held at various venues during the course of this week. - MetroMinutes
