Toyota Yaris steps up colour tones

BY CHARL BOSCH - JUNE 15, 2016

Taking a lead for the same book as its entry-level Aygo, Toyota has introduced a two-tone body colour option for its popular Yaris range.

Claimed the “better accentuate” the vehicle’s lines, the bi-tone hue pairs a metallic black upper body treatment with a choice of three colours for the lower end, namely pearl white, metallic red and metallic grey. The range however remains mechanically unchanged with buyers still able to choose from a 1.0-litre or 1.3-litre petrol engine, as well as a 1.5-litre Hybrid model.

A three year / 100 000 km warranty and three year / 45 000 km service plan is standard on all petrol models, with the Hybrid boasting a eight year / 195 000 km warranty and four year / 60 000 km service plan.
