Transnet Port Terminal celebrates gradutes at DCT

On Thursday, 33 excited Cargo Coordinators and Operators of Lifting Equipment (OLE’s) from the Durban Container Terminals graduated from Transnet’s Maritime School of Excellence (MSoE) at a ceremony held at TNPA’s N Shed. The KwaZulu Natal MSoE class of 2016 comprised of 283 graduates qualifying as Marine Pilots, Tug Masters, Operators of Lifting Equipment (OLE’s), Engineers and Cargo Coordinators.

Their staff is their greatest asset and Transnet Port Terminals prides itself in a workforce empowered with the skills and talent to propel the organisation to world-class standards. Similar graduation ceremonies are yet to take place in the Eastern Cape and Western Cape.

Department of Public Enterprises, Deputy General, Mogokare Seleke, Transnet Chairperson, Linda Mabaso and Transnet Group Chief Executive Siyabonga Gama jointly hosted the event as well as Transnet Port Terminal Executives.
