Two busted in Mthatha with drugs, money, 23 cellphones, 18 knives and five ID documents

Police in Mthatha on Friday arrested two suspects for allegedly dealing in drugs during an intelligence driven operation in the town.

"Crime intelligence and K9 Unit acted on information received about drug related activities at Chris Hani Park in Mthatha," described local police.

"A raid was conducted on Friday, at about 06:00."

The suspects were arrested at their flat after 756 Mandrax tablets, five sachets of Tik, 23 Cellphones, 18 knives and five ID documents were recovered at their premises.

"They will appear before Mthatha Magistrates' Court on Monday for possession of drugs and stolen property.
