Two busted near Aliwal North with 13kgs of dagga

Two suspects are expected in the Aliwal North Magistrate's Court on Monday after they were arrested over the weekend with a substantial amount of dagga.

According to Eastern Cape police, in a short statement; "On Saturday, 23 April 2016, the K9 Unit in Aliwal North arrested two suspects for possession of dagga on the R64 between Aliwal North and Lady Grey.

"Two plastic bags and clothing bags, containing 13,086kg of dagga to the value of R13 086, were seized."

The suspects were immediately detained at Aliwal North SAPS.
