Two changes to Stormers for Lions match
DHL Western Province Stormers coach, Allister Coetzee, has announced his team who will take on the Emirates Golden Lions for their third Super Rugby match at the Ellis Park on Saturday afternoon.
Lock Rynhardt Elstadt broke his fibular during the match against the Blues last weekend and will be replaced by Nizaam Carr.
Coetzee has named Bongi Mbonambi at hooker, ahead of ScarraNtubeni, which is the only other change the coach has made to his team.
The Stormers have won both of their Super Rugby matches thus far, with Wing Dillyn Leyds saying that the team wants to keep the confidence and not get ahead of themselves this early in the competition.
“The belief is growing in the team. We are a young bunch of guys so the more games down we get the more confidence we’ll get in each other and in ourselves. So I think as the season goes on we’ll see what happens and it can only be good for us once we start getting a good feeling amongst us by believing in ourselves and in our team mates,” Leyds said.
