Two pedal entry level Ford Kuga now available
Revised last year, Ford South Africa has now added a six-speed automatic transmission option to its entry-level front-wheel-drive Kuga SUV.
Previously only available in mid-spec Trend, the new Ambiente auto remains mechanically unchanged with power still coming from a 1.5 EcoBoost engine that produces 132 kW and 240 N.m of torque. Fuel consumption mirrors that of the Trend with Ford claiming a combined figure of 7.0 L/100 km and emissions of 162 g/km.
Standard spec remains high with the Ambiente featuring Ford’s SYNC infotainment system with Voice Control and Bluetooth streaming, automatic air-conditioning, cruise control, electric windows all around with one touch up/down function, electric heated side mirrors, seven airbags, ABS with EBD, ESP, EBA and Hill Start Assist.
As with the rest of the Kuga range, a four year / 120 000 km warranty and four year / 80 000 km service plan is standard on the Ambiente.
