Continental Tyre South Africa's (CTSA) team dominated at the Corporate Triathlon Challenge 2017 that took place in Port Elizabeth on Saturday 1 April 2017.

Continental-backed triathletes have dominated this event for the past two years, taking gold in 2016 in all three categories: the men's and women's races, as well as the team challenge.

Speaking ahead of the Corporate IRONMAN 2017, Continental Tyres did not hide their intention is to continue this winning streak on the event, which is the precursor to the Standard Bank Ironman African Championships on Sunday 2 April.

"The Corporate Triathlon Challenge is a great showcase for the sporting talent we have in South Africa, and specifically in Port Elizabeth. We are proud to have many of the country's top triathletes competing in Continental colours," said Ryan Visagie, Continental's product communications manager, and the team manager for the event.

Several of Continental's individual and team competitors returned to defend or reclaim their titles this year, including Keegan Cooke who won the hotly contested men's individual race in 2016, along with the winner of the women's race in 2015, Liza Kingston.
