“We’ll learn as a team from this tour and become wiser” - Uys

Toyota Free State Cheetahs captain, Francois Uys has said that his team continues to learn hard lessons on their Australasian Super Rugby tour.

They will be finishing off their tour this week, after facing the Western Force in Perth on Saturday afternoon, and are hoping to end off on a high note.

The Cheetahs started their trip with a 57-14 loss to the Crusaders in Christchurch, before going down 37-27 to the Chiefs in Hamilton, and losing 20-3 to the Brumbies in Canberra.

“We didn’t get the results we wanted, but we believe that we’ll learn as a team from this tour and become wiser,” Uys said.

“We played against three teams with a lot of experience and game-breakers. It was definitely not an easy tour,” he added.
