What’s happening in PE this weekend?

Friday is here, which means it is just a few more hours until the weekend! Two days where you can take some time to relax and enjoy all the activities that Port Elizabeth has to offer.

With some sunny weather on the horizon for the upcoming weekend, which is an added bonus, there are also some great events happening around the Bay this Friday, Saturday and Sunday, whether it is for the whole family, couples or groups of friends.

Friday:

The Parlotones will be presenting “The Parlotones Orchestrated” at the Feather Market Convention Centre. This event will start at 8pm this Friday night (8 April 2016). Get your tickets as fast as you can!


Saturday:

Morning:

Michelle from Feel Good Yoga will be holding a free beach yoga class, which will be taking place at Happy Valley on Saturday the 9th of April at 7:30am, in support of childhood cancer. This is also in preparation for race day. Visit https://www.facebook.com/FeelGoodBodyAndMind for more info.

Afternoon:

The IRONKIDS event is this Saturday at 12pm! This event is part of the Standard Bank IRONMAN African Championship, which is also taking place this weekend. Each child who will take part of the IRONKIDS will receive a t-shirt, medal and a great goodie bag upon finishing! A fun event for all those involved.

Evening:

The Southern Kings will be playing against the Vodacom Blue Bulls at the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium on Saturday evening. The match will start at 19:15pm. You can visit www.nmbstadium.co.za for more information.


Sunday:

Ironman African Championship is here, with the day beginning at Hobie Beach in Summerstrand. Head down to the beachfront this Sunday for a fun and exciting event, and support all the Ironmen and women taking part in this event.
