Three suspects, aged between 22 and 33 years old, are expected in the Willowvale Magistrate's Court on Monday after they allegedly hijacked a car from a 39 year-old man early on Friday, at about 02:00am, at Ngadla Village, Willlowvale.

According to Willowvale police, the trio was arrested on Saturday at their homes at Ngadla Village, Willowvale.

The hijacked car was also recovered.

In an unrelated incident, Msobomvu police are investigating a case of business burglary after five men allegedly broke the windows of Zazulwana Clinic, at Zazulwana Village, Butterworth, and made off with computers.

According to Msobomvu police, the five suspects were apparently seen by a female security guard at the clinic while committing the crime.

“The crime was committed on Friday, at about 22:00, the security guard was on duty alone and was not brave enough to apprehend the suspects,” said police spokesperson, Captain Jackson Manatha.

He added that the suspects stole seven computers worth R42 000 and fled on foot to Zazulwana Village.

Police have appealed to anyone, who might have information about the stolen computers, to contact Msobomvu police on 047 492 0180 or crime stop 08600 10111 as no one has been arrested yet.
