Zuma must pay back the money then resign - Malema

BY CHARL BOSCH - FEBRUARY 11, 2015

Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) leader Julius Malema has said that President Jacob Zuma tendering in his resignation after delivering the State of the Nation (SONA) Address in Parliament tomorrow night, would be “the best State of The Nation ever delivered by him”.

In a video interview with eNCA, Malema said Zuma should also give an indication as to when he is prepared to pay back a portion of the R246-million spend on upgrades at Nkandla and by which method.

“Will he use e-Wallet, will he use the Shoprite facility or will he use cash? And after that, he must tender his resignation,” Malema said.

Last month, Malema stated that the party will disrupt Zuma’s speech if he doesn’t come clean about Nkandla. Speaking at a press conference over the weekend, Zuma said that he is not worried by the EFF’s threats and that that “he would be guided by the rules of Parliament”.
