A few hours after load shedding eased slightly and was downgraded from phase 5 to phase 4, South Africa is back on phase 5.
Eskom announced a short time ago that phase 5 will have to be restarted on Tuesday at 10:00 after four generating units gave up overnight.
Phase 5 applies at this stage until 16:00. Eskom is expected to give more information about the schedule going forward later today.
Phase 5 also applied overnight until early this morning.

Due to the loss of 4 generation units overnight, Stage 5 load shedding will be implemented from 10:00 until 16:00 today. Eskom will publish another update this afternoon.
