The kicking sensation Handré Pollard will become a father next year.
The Springbok flyhalf and his wife, Marise, are expecting their first child in April next year. Marise shared this news on Instagram on Sunday morning.
“Thank you Jesus for trusting us with this little life,” she wrote.
Pollard is currently the rugby player who scored the third most points (195) in a World Cup rugby tournament after he did not miss a kick to the posts again in the last tournament.
He is also the second Bok in just a week to share baby news. The Springbok lock Eben Etzebeth and his wife, Anlia, announced last Sunday that they will be welcoming a pinkie within the next few months.
The Boks are currently touring the country to show off the Webb Ellis trophy to their fans. They were in Durban on Saturday and hit the streets of East London today.
