Stenden South Africa, renowned educators in the fields of Hospitality Management and Disaster Management, have offered short courses in Hospitality to local business to refine their skills and improve overall service levels in the holiday town of Port Alfred.

The short courses form part of a co-operative partnership between Stenden South Africa and Sunshine Coast Tourism Board.

According to Ronel Bartlett, Education Support Office Manager at Stenden South Africa, the courses cover a wide range of basics ranging from how to correctly hold and present a bottle of wine, to general etiquette.

Upon completing the course, the learners from neighboring hotels are then presented with a certificate from Stenden South Africa in acknowledgement of their achievement in successfully acquiring their new knowledge and skills.
