Entries still open for The Muck Run happening this weekend

When playing clean in sport is no longer an option, along comes The Muck Run, the Eastern Cape’s dirtiest fun run race which will be taking place on Sunday 20th May at Dawson’s Farm in Kragga Kamma.

The ultimate in fun and laughter, this 5km (or 3km option for kids 12 years and under) fun run is an obstacle run intended to get the participants as mucky as possible.

All participants and spectators are also encouraged to bring along all unwanted clothing, as well as donating their dirty race clothing, which is washed by Spin Cycle (the only eco-friendly laundromat in Port Elizabeth) and distributed to the needy by the Rotary Club of Port Elizabeth Sunrise.

If previous years are anything to go by, the Rotary Club anticipates a bakkie load or more of clothing being donated to charity.

Late Entries are just R150 for the Kids Run and R200 for the 5km Run and will be available online (www.muckrun.co.za) or at the venue on Lakeside Road, Kragga Kamma from 08h00 on Sunday morning.

Discounted group and corporate entries will be available online only until Friday morning.

Lucky draw prizes from Woodlands Dairy, Powerade and Caltex Eastern Cape are up for grabs for fun categories like best dressed, muddiest, most fun and best spirit. Don’t miss out on this fun, family event.
