Man returns from work to find wife brutally murdered, police appealing for leads
Police have appealed to the public for assistance with information that can help them solve a case of murder that happened at Burgersdorp on Wednesday.
"It is alleged that on Tuesday, the husband of the deceased, aged 37, left his wife at their residential place at Thembisa Township, situated at Burgersdorp and left for work," said police spokesperson, W/O Moitheri Bojabotseha.
"On his arrival from his work place the next morning, he found his wife murdered in their bedroom with cut wounds on the upper body.
"The investigating team is working around the clock to get positive results in the case. There is no arrest at this stage."

Aliwal North Cluster Commander, Brigadier Trevor Mey, condemned the senseless killing as crimes against woman and children are seen as a priority in the SAPS.
"Our members will work tirelessly to further investigate the murder case," he said.
He further appealed to the community to come forward with positive information that will lead to the arrest of the suspect so that they can face the mighty hand of the law.
