Dutywa police investigating accident that claimed teenager
Dutywa police are investigating a case of culpable homicide following an accident that took place on Monday, at about 17:00.
"It is alleged that a sedan car hit a 15-year-old boy along the R407 road, near Ngcingwana Village, between Dutywa and Willowvale," described police spokesperson, Captain Jackson Manatha.
"The 15-year-old pedestrian died at the scene."
He added that the cause of the accident is not known at this point in time, but it is under investigation by Dutywa police Detectives.
"The identity of the deceased is still being withheld until all relatives of the deceased are informed of his death."
