Nelson Mandela Bay Yacht Club opens to the public on Friday

The Nelson Mandela Bay Yacht Club is due to open this Friday, 9 November.

Ruben Rosales, the General Manager, says, “We are very happy to announce the opening of our restaurant and pub. Our doors open at 9am and we will be serving breakfast, lunch and dinner.”

Location of the Nelson Mandela Bay Yacht Club

The Nelson Mandela Bay Yacht Club is in the same building as the old Algoa Bay Yacht Club but has received a number of improvements.

Ruben and his team have upgraded many of the facilities but kept the best parts of the old club as they were. Now visitors can expect air-conditioning in summer and heating and winter but still enjoy the same amazing view, awesome deck and lovely pub.

“We have a great team in the kitchen, behind the bar and in the restaurant. We have spent much time training and preparing for this day,” adds Ruben.

Nelson Mandela Bay Yacht Club menu offers a full range of seafood and sushi. Their grill menu has great steaks and lovingly prepared chicken. If you’re looking for something lighter they offer burgers, wraps and salads too.

Functions and parties

“Our club is large enough to cater for large parties and enough separate areas to host smaller events too. If you’re looking for a place to hold your year-end function look no further than the Nelson Mandela Bay Yacht Club,” says Ruben.
