On Monday, The Boardwalk team brought delight to both young and old as they showed their love for education and care for the elderly.

The team visited the children of Walmer Primary School and Khayalethu Home for Boys in Port Elizabeth and donated several items for their Back to School Give Back.

The 54 children of Walmer Primary received school shoes and socks while the 28 young boys of the Khayalethu Home for Boys received school shoes, trousers, school bags and toiletries.

The boys of Khayalethu also received a donation of R10 000 that was collected for The Boardwalks annual Sparkler event that took place in December 2018.

The proceeds will go towards getting DStv, a Nintendo Wii-fit, various video games and school bags for Khayalethu.

The Boardwalk team also paid a visit to the residents of the Gelvan Frail Care Centre as well as Project Hope as they were among the beneficiaries for The Boardwalk’s 18th Birthday celebrations.

They were chosen as beneficiaries by media personalities, Toinette Koumpan and Luchae Williams from a mock gaming event they participated in.
