Birthday cake taste better when shared

St Andrew’s Prep celebrated its 134th birthday this week! As part of the school tradition, a giant cake is donated to underprivileged children to enjoy.

This year, Prep chose the Assumption Nutrition Centre in Joza. The centre caters for up to 105 children from four different schools, the Centre provides breakfast and lunch as well as an afternoon snack for those identified as needing extra assistance. In addition, the centre helps the children with homework.

We had a lovely time sharing a piece of cake with the children form Assumption Nutrition Centre, said St Andrew’s Prep staff member.
