Warriors players called up to national teams

Port Elizabeth - The Warriors are back in action this week as they head to Durban to take on the Hollywoodbets Dolphins in their final feat for 2019 in the Sunfoil CSA 4-Day Franchise series.

The team is proud to announce that Warriors players, Anrich Nortje and Rudi Second have been called up to the Proteas side.

This while Lutho Sipamla and Glenton Stuurman will join the South African ‘A’ side in their up-coming fixtures.

A sure loss for the Warriors squad, however; the team is extremely proud that these stand-out cricketers are being recognised at national-level.

Warriors’ team manager, Shafiek Abrahams said hard work and perseverance resulted in the four players achieving their well-deserved accolades.

“We are tremendously proud of all four players and we look forward to watching them grow and develop as Protea cricketers,” he said.

The Warriors will close off 2019 with this upcoming away fixture against the Dolphins at Hollywoodbets Kingsmead Stadium starting Thursday, 18 December and will be back for the second half of the season in January 2020 as they take on the Titans in Pretoria on Monday, 6 January 2020.

The Warriors team is driven and ready to take on any challenges coming their way as they look to continue with the same form with which they had kicked off the season.
