Ballroom Dancers Perform
The Cathedral of St Michael and St George recently hosted a Song & Dance Musical Evening.
The St Andrew’s and DSG Ballroom Dancing Club was invited to perform along with other local talent.
Instructor, Francois van Eck and partner, Louise van der Merwe, opened the floor with a Salsa dance, the ballroom dancers then swiftly joined the floor and performed a fun collection of line dances from the Cha Cha, the Waltz; an energetic Samba and ended in the favourite Cotton-Eyed-Joe Footloose.
The dancers also assisted Mr van Eck in a group activity with community and definitely added much laughter and fun to the evening. The evening was thoroughly enjoyed by all and positive feedback was received.
