Buffalo City Municipality says Kiwane Beach Resort still open for business

East London - Following a sold out festive season, the Kiwane Beach Resort is still calling on locals to use it in 2020.

The seven-single storey and five double storey resort in Tsholomnqa is one of the stylish and warm resorts in a rural beach.

As part of the City’s development plan to stimulate and unlock rural tourism, Kiwane Resort was established in 2019 with an attempt to open an opportunity for special offers and resources in order to boost sales that can also provide better customer satisfaction.

Buffalo City Municipality Economic Development and Agencies Portfolio Head, Mzwandile Vaaiboom, visited the resort as part of his walkabout campaign on Wednesday, 01 January 2019.

Vaaiboom said that the Metro is pleased with the response from the guests and acknowledges the hard work by the employees at the resort.

“I would really like to encourage the people of the City, tourists, departments and other institutions to use this facility so it could boost BCM’s economy as well as open job opportunities for the people of Ward 32."

All 10 rooms of the resort were full on New Year’s Day.
