Centane school's classroom block burnt to the ground, motive unknown

Centane police are investigating a case of arson case after a block consisting of four classrooms at the Mabobothi Senior Secondary School was burnt down on Tuesday night.

"The classes were burnt down at Komkhulu Locality, Tutura Village, Centane," said police spokesperson, Captain Jackson Manatha.

"The classrooms had desks and books of the learners.

"The damage value has not yet been established."

Motive behind torching of Centane school not yet known

Captain Manatha said that the motive behind the arson is not yet known.
