Clear skies and sunny skies expected for the 16th SPAR Kirkwood Wildsfees

A weekend of sunny weather and clear Karoo skies is forecast for the annual SPAR Kirkwood Wildsfees.

“If the weather predictions are right then festival goers can look forward to perfect weather, with sun and clear skies,” says director Jenni Honsbein.

According to various weather sites on Friday, June 30 the maximum will be 23 degrees Celsius with a minimum of 14. Saturday, July 1 the maximum will be 18 and the minimum only 14. And on Sunday, July 2 the temperature will rise to 25.

“It is the perfect weather for the whole family to enjoy experiences such as the Faeries for all seasons wonderland, the Walk on the Wildside, moto madness, citrus demonstrations, shopping at over 350 stalls, seeing the latest in new vehicles and farming equipment and more.

“With the nights being a bit chilli festival organisers have made prevision for a few extra fire pits to be lit to help keep festival goers going as they watch the galaxy of stars who will be performing on the giant Adventure Province Main Stage,” says Honsbein.

Headline acts over the three days include Jack Parow, Riana Nel and  Theuns Jordaan on Friday, Ray Dylan, Nicholis Louw, Robbie Wessels and Kurt Darren on Saturday, and PJ Powers, Die Campbells and Emo Adams.

The gates open at nine in the morning and the party continues till late in the night.
