Community assistance sought by Kwanobuhle police
Investigating officers from SAPS Kwanobuhle in the Uitenhage Cluster have made an urgent appeal to members of the community to assist them in locating a missing 65-year-old man.
"Velile Ndarala, born on 1 June 1953, was officially reported missing by his son on 4 October 2018," said police spokesperson, Captain Gerda Swart.
"Ndarala was last seen on 29 September 2018 in Ntsasa Street, Kwanobuhle.
"Velile Ndarala is 1.7m tall and weighs about 50kg."
She said that he was wearing khaki trousers, a blue t-shirt with a blue-and-white striped jersey on the day of his disappearance.
"Anyone with information about his whereabouts is urged to contact the investigating officer, Detective Warrant Officer Mark Rhodes on 079 881 4354 or SAPS Crime Stop 08600 10111."
