Dutywa police need help identifying accident victim

Dutywa - Dutywa police are investigating a case of culpable homicide and failure to stop after an accident.

"It is alleged that a female pedestrian was hit by a motor vehicle along the N2 Road, near Dothi Village, Dutywa," said police spokesperson, Captain Jackson Manatha.

"The fatal accident took place on Monday, 08 June 2020 at about 18:00.

"The vehicle that hit the deceased did not stop."

He added that the deceased has not yet been identified.

"Any family that is looking for a relative is urged to contact Dutywa Police on 047 489 1333."
