East London - Police in East London are investigating a fatal shooting incident in which two people lost their lives.

"It is alleged that approximately 19:30 on Thursday, a man and a woman, between the ages of 49 and 52 years old, were found lying in a pool of blood outside a house at Jade Street, in Amalinda, East London," said police spokesperson, Captain Hazel Mqala.
