Port Elizabeth - Five men with ages ranging between 39 and 58 were arrested last night after being caught with approximately 14 kilograms of dagga.

"This followed after Kinkelbos police members on patrol on the N2 spotted a suspicious white Opel Kadett traveling close to Colchester towards Port Elizabeth at 23:00," said police spokesperson, Captain Andre Beetge.

"The vehicle was pulled off the road by the police members and on searching it, discovered 13 bags of dagga in the boot of the vehicle.

"The estimated street value of the dagga is about R35 000."

The suspects were arrested and charged with dealing in dagga.

They will be appearing before the Alexandria Magistrate's Court on Thursday.
