Heavy rains, disruptive snowfalls, damaging winds expected on Thursday

The South African Weather Service on Thursday morning said that severe heavy rain, damaging winds, and disruptive snowfalls are to be expected over parts of the KwaZulu Natal and the Eastern Cape as the day progresses. 

Damaging winds - SW'ly winds of 65 km/h are expected along the coast north of Coffee Bay.

"Heavy rain expected along the coast and adjacent interior between Port Alfred and Port Edward," said the weather office.

"Disruptive snowfalls are expected over the Sneeuberg and Winterberg mountains, spreading toward the southern Drakensberg."
