Help Port Elizabeth police find missing woman

Ronell Topper left the Sydenham Retirement Village and never returned

Port Elizabeth -  Mount Road police detectives in Port Elizabeth are urgently trying to trace a 53-year-old Port Elizabeth woman, who left her retirement home on 4 April 2019 and has not yet returned.

According to police information, Ronell Topper left the Sydenham Retirement Village in Wayne Street, Port Elizabeth, with Gerhard Germishuizen (59) and the couple promised to return six days later.

"Germishuizen also resides at the retirement village," described police spokesperson, Col Priscilla Naidu.

"They have no vehicle and was seen leaving on foot."

Ronell Topper's son opened a missing person report

Col Naidu said Topper has only one leg.

"Her family is concerned for her safety. Her son opened a missing persons report at SAPS Mount Road on Thursday," she explained.

"Anyone who may know the whereabouts of this couple is asked to contact D/WO HP Ferreira at SAPS Mount Road on 082 442 8281."
