Inaugural Bay Summer Fest music concert cancelled

Port Elizabeth - 011 Entertainment, organisers of the Bay Summer Fest, informed the stadium management on Wednesday that the Bay Summer Fest concert – an event promoted and scheduled to take place on Sunday, 22 December 2019 at Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium – will no longer take place at the stadium.

“In correspondence, the organisers noted that based on interest and the actual ticket sale performance, a smaller venue will be selected,” Phumulani Hlatshwayo, Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium Head of Commercial said.

Hlatshwayo said the event organisers has not communicated details of the new venue.  

“We encourage interested parties and ticket owners to get directly in touch with 011 Entertainment or Ticket Pro.”

The inaugural Bay Summer Fest music concert was supposed to bring a line-up of local and national artists. The artist line-up includes the likes of Executive Stimulus, Luke Goliath & Zaybo, Lisa Love, Sham De Funk, Biggy, Jay EM, Micasa, Timo ODV, Early B, Luke M, Da Capo and Dj Kent.
