Inquest opened after human bones found at forest near Ngqamakhwe

Ngqamakhwe police have opened an inquest docket after a community member found human bones over the weekend.

"The bones were found on Saturday, at about 08h00 in a forest at Matolweni Village, Ngqamakhwe," said police spokesperson, Captain Jackson Manatha.

"The community member, who discovered the bones phoned the police.

"When the police arrived at the scene, they found the bones with blue t-shirt with navy colour, grey trouser, pair of tekkies and blue jean trouser."

Ngqamakhwe police have appealed to any family that has lost a person, whose clothes match the clothes that were found with the bones to contact them at 047 487 0017.
