Kaizer Chiefs face Tuks in ABSA Premiership

Kaizer Chiefs will be facing the University of Pretoria (Tuks) in their ABSA Premiership game at the FNB Stadium in Johannesburg on Saturday.

The Amakhosi will be entering the field for their sixth league game of the season, while hoping to continue their winning marathon.

“Against Tuks it is going to be a tough game,” said Chief’s midfielder, Willard Katsande,

“Every time we play against them they give us a problem.

“We have to remain focused and listen to the coach’s game plan.”

The Amakhosi are currently sitting on top of the log with 15 points after a five game winning streak and will be taking a two week international break, with many saying that this could break the teams’ momentum.

However, Katsande believes this will be good for the Chiefs.

“So far, so good. But there is always room for improvement,” he said.

“My role is to balance the team and officiate from the midfield. We are scoring goals from the midfield and that is good for the team.

“Our aim is to get all three points to keep our momentum and keep us at the top of the league,” he added
