KwaNobuhle man handed himself in after fatally stabbing another man over a woman

A 43-year-old male has handed himself over to Kwanobuhle police in Uitenhage over the weekend after he allegedly fatally stabbed a 26-year-old male over a woman.
 
"It is alleged that the two males had an argument about a woman, after which the 43-year-old male allegedly took a knife and stabbed the 26-year-old male in his chest," said police spokesperson, Captain Gerda Swart.

"The incident occurred at a residence in Mnamatha Street, Kwanobuhle, at about 18:00 on Sunday."

KwaNobuhle man handed himself in 

The 43-year-old male suspect went to the Kwanobuhle Community Service Centre at about 20:00 and handed himself over to the police.

"The suspect was detained and was due to appear in the Kwanobuhle Magistrate's Court on Monday, on a charge of murder," Capt Swart said.

"The name of the victim will be released after he was formally identified by his next-of-kin."
