KwaNobuhle police investigating after armed men robbed a liquor outlet
The suspects then allegedly fled in a yellow VW Golf from the scene
Police in Kwanobuhle, Uitenhage, have launched a manhunt for a group of suspects, who allegedly robbed a business in Ponanatini Road, Kwanobuhle, on Thursday evening, at around 17:45.
"It is alleged that the group entered the premises and pretended to purchase liquor," described police spoeksperson, Captain Gerda Swart.
"The suspects (all armed with firearms) then threatened the 30-year-old complainant and one suspect pistol-whipped the complainant over his head."

She said that the suspects then took several bottles of liquor, an undisclosed amount of cash and cellphones.
"The suspects then allegedly fled in a yellow VW Golf from the scene. No shots were fired during the robbery and detectives are following up on all possible leads," Capt Swart said.
